What our TAE40122 graduates say
“Great facilities, learning materials, trainers and assessors. I was supported and encouraged the whole way through the process without any short cuts taken in between. Finished with a great outcome for my Certificate IV in TAE and a new found confidence in my own abilities. Thank you to CBD Colledge and all who helped me along my journey.”
“Fantastic service here. Their trainers are very knowledgeable and experienced. Their course is very well designed and I do learn a lot from the course TAE40122. I am looking forward to doing other courses here in the future.”
“Attended TAE40122 course at CBD College and had a fantastic experience. Special thanks to Natarsha Krug, our trainer, for her excellent guidance and support throughout the training and assessments!!”
“I was referred to CBD college from Busy At Work to do TAE40122. It turns out it was a great recommendation. The course structure and content, as well as the highly skilled trainers made the experience enjoyable and satisfying. I found that intermediate computer skills were necessary. If I could do it all again, I would start the class with a second monitor connected to my computor to have at least 2 documents plus zoom in view all the time.”
“TAE trainers are knowledgeable about the subject and deliver the material at an appropriate level for students and the qualification. Trainers respond quickly to requests for support and assessments are marked thoroughly with plenty of feedback. Course material is detailed, easy to follow and the content is correct. Overall a professional RTO who sets and maintain standards”
“Highly recommended. The staff at CBD College were all extremely friendly and helpful. The resources were extensive and well thought out. I enjoyed my time in the TAE Cert IV class and fell confident moving forward.”
“To all TAE teachers and CBD College staffs, Thanks to all staffs and teachers in CBD College to provide lots of assistance during my TAE course study. It was a really enjoyable and great study experience in my life. One of the most sincerely feeling is that Help Session is very important and helpful to students who has questions. TAE Teachers are very nice and helpful as well. It is one of my unforgettable study experience in my life. Wish CBD College have a wonderful future. Regards, Yifan Li”
“Cert4 TAE is not exactly known as a ‘fun’ course, but CBD college made it the best it could be! I’ve tried with another RTO and was unable to retain interest in finishing the course as it was so tedious. CBDs express 2 week course option gave me the motivation to complete it as we did a MASSIVE portion of the overall assessments in the classroom. I was able to complete the 12month course in 6. HELP sessions with the trainers are very helpful, especially if you do require any resubmissions. Would definitely recommend.”
“The best training institute I’ve ever been to! ( TAE) Talk about support, quality training, teamwork and innovation. These guys gave me nothing but a reason to be a better person. Their empathy and support has pushed me to complete my course in less then a month. I have been through ups and downs but from day one they teach you how to get through by been positive and believing in yourself. The owners are the most humble and professional people I’ve ever meet. The trainers experience and quality teaching is amazing and nothing was ever missed everything they teach you is useful. This accomplishment is something I will always be proud of and thanks to CBD I will pass on this beautiful experience and would recommend it to anyone that is looking for quality training and a supporting professional RTO.”

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a degree or prior qualifications to enrol?▾
No degree is required. You need to demonstrate vocational competency — broad industry knowledge and experience in the area you plan to train and assess in. This could include holding a relevant qualification or significant workplace experience.
Is this qualification nationally recognised?▾
Yes. TAE40122 is a nationally recognised qualification under the Australian Qualifications Framework. CBD College is a registered training organisation (RTO 91399) regulated by ASQA.
What's the difference between Zoom and Classroom delivery?▾
Both are face-to-face and in-person with a live trainer — the only difference is location. Zoom students join from home via video conferencing. Classroom students attend our Sydney or Melbourne CBD campus (7 days in person + 3 days via Zoom). Same qualification, same trainers, same outcome.
What support do I get after the 10 days?▾
You're never left on your own. We run free Help Days via Zoom where you get one-on-one support from your trainer as you work through your assessments. These sessions are unlimited and included in your course fee.
Can my employer pay for the course?▾
Yes. Many employers pay directly or reimburse course fees, and we can invoice your employer on request.
Do I need a USI?▾
Yes — a Unique Student Identifier (USI) is required before a nationally recognised certificate can be issued. It's free to create at usi.gov.au.
