Who is the TAE Access Course for?
The Access Course is free and optional for everyone enrolled in our TAE40122 course. It's especially valuable if you have identified learning or skill gaps (including language, literacy, numeracy or digital skills), or if you haven't studied for a while and want a confident head start.
What does the workshop cover?
Training & assessment language
An introduction to the acronyms, vocabulary and phrases used throughout the TAE course, so nothing feels unfamiliar on Day 1.
Computer skills
Navigating documents, managing resources, formatting and handy tools like text-to-speech — the practical skills you'll use across the course.
Your pre-course online modules
Guided time to start the required online learning modules, with a trainer on hand.
A head start on assessments
Begin some of the assessment tasks before the face-to-face block begins, so you arrive ahead.
