Rescheduling & Switching Classes

A step-by-step guide to switching your scheduled class to a new date or location through your CBD College Student Portal.

 

Please read before you start

We do not reschedule students over the phone, via email, live chat, or internal student management messaging. CBD College uses an entirely self-help process. Please note that rescheduling your class will incur a fee.

 

Log into your Student Portal to begin

How to switch your class

Follow each step in order. Screenshots are included to help you find the right buttons in your portal.

Find then open the course

After logging in, you'll land on your dashboard. Click on either My Courses in the left-hand menu, or click open course next to the unit listed under My Enrolments.

Step 1 — Find then open the course

Click on 'Switch Class'

Once your course is open, look across the row of action buttons at the top of the page and click Switch Class.

Filter and choose your new class

On the timetable search page:

  1. Enter the postcode of your training class location to filter options.
  2. Choose your date range.
  3. Click select next to the class you want to move into.

Confirm the switch and click 'Pay Now'

Review the Original Timetable Item against the New Timetable Item to make sure the date and location are correct, then click Pay Now to proceed to checkout.

Add to cart

On the Settle A Payment Request page, confirm the amount you wish to pay and click add to cart.

Checkout with your credit card

Review your shopping cart and click checkout to complete the payment with your credit card. You'll receive an email confirmation once the switch has been processed.

All done!

Your new class will appear under My Enrolments in your Student Portal once payment is processed.

Things to know

A few quick tips to make the process as smooth as possible.

Why is there a fee?

When you book a class, a place is reserved for you. Switching classes incurs an administration fee that covers the rebooking process and the costs associated with your original class.

Can I switch to a different city or campus?

Yes — at Step 3, simply enter the postcode of the campus you'd like to attend instead, and the available classes at that location will appear in the results.

What if I forgot my login details?

Use the Forgot Password link on the portal login screen. Your username is the email address you used when you originally enrolled.

Can I switch the day before my class?

The Switch Class function is generally available right up until your class start time, but availability of replacement classes is subject to seats being open. We recommend switching as early as possible.
