3 Hour Barista Course - Melbourne

Aussies lead the world in coffee-making. Our baristas are world-class. Sign up for one of our barista courses or coffee courses and learn how to use a coffee machine today! We offer a variety of coffee making courses, including latte art courses and coffee roasting courses, using commercial machines for hands-on learning.

What makes us different? Every student gets their own steam wand/group handle for the day, ensuring you get the best barista training course experience. There's no waiting around—we have one trainer for every 7 students, providing a focused learning environment.

We run classes every week of the year. Check the dates and times below:

We teach you how to use a coffee machine from scratch. With no prior experience, you will leave our barista course knowing how to:

  • Froth milk
  • Make espresso
  • Prepare all of the coffees that you would find in a cafe
  • Clean and maintain the coffee machine
  • Contact us by email or phone our central booking office at 1300 838 962 to learn more about our coffee making courses.

Special: Our coffee classes are 3 hours long and the cost is just $119 (usually $149).

Cancellation Policy

Due to the extremely small numbers in our classes, we are unable to refund monies for students who do not turn up for coffee classes or decide at a later date after booking that they do not want to attend. Changes to class times are allowed, but not within 48 hours of the class commencing.

No Statement of Attainment

Please note that students do not receive an accredited RTO certificate upon completion of the Australian Barista School 3-hour course. This is only awarded with the 5-hour accredited barista course. Students attending the 3-hour course do receive an Australian Barista School certificate.
