Is this course nationally recognised?▾

Yes. CBD College is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 91399) and you receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment on completion.

Do I need a USI?▾

Yes — a Unique Student Identifier (USI) is required before a nationally recognised certificate can be issued. It's free to create at usi.gov.au.

How do I book a place?▾

Use the class finder above to choose your course, location and date, then enrol and pay online to secure your spot.

Can you train my team or workplace?▾

Yes — we run group and onsite bookings. Call 1300 628 299 to arrange one.

How often do I need to renew my CPR certificate?▾

Most workplaces and registration bodies require HLTAID009 CPR to be renewed every 12 months. Check your specific requirements — many of our students refresh annually.

What does the CPR course cover?▾

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation for adults, children and infants, managing an unconscious or choking casualty and using an AED (defibrillator), in line with current Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines.

Do I need CPR or Provide First Aid?▾

HLTAID009 CPR is the CPR unit on its own and is renewed yearly. If your workplace needs the full first aid certificate, choose HLTAID011 Provide First Aid — it includes CPR and is renewed every 3 years.

Is there any pre-course work?▾

Yes — a short online module to complete before your in-person session. You'll receive the link after you book.
