Support before your class
If you have any issue that may affect your training or assessment — a learning difficulty, disability, or other circumstance requiring reasonable adjustment — get in touch before you book, so we can consider what adjustments might help. Email info@cbdcollege.edu.au or call 1300 628 299.
This includes students with special needs arising from learning difficulties, emotional or behavioural challenges, or physical disabilities — please contact us before your course commences so we can plan accordingly.
Ongoing support during your course
CBD College has Training Managers for each course who are available if you need ongoing training or wellbeing support during your enrolment. This can include Zoom help sessions for longer courses, gap training, an offer to re-sit parts of your training, or advice on external support that may be available.
If you need ongoing support once you're enrolled, email support@cbdcollege.edu.au or call 1300 628 299 as your first point of contact.
(Use info@cbdcollege.edu.au for support enquiries before you've booked or enrolled; use support@cbdcollege.edu.au once you're an enrolled student needing ongoing help. See our Contact Us page for the full breakdown of when to use each address.)
Language, literacy and numeracy support
- Coffee and First Aid students need to be able to follow and recall instructions from the trainer to complete assessed activities, including practical demonstrations and written/multiple-choice questions delivered via an online learning platform.
- All other courses require effective language, communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to produce documentation, and cognitive skills in planning, research, interpretation, analysis and synthesis — including reading and interpreting training materials, developing learning programs, presenting information, using technology and preparing records.
If you have a learning difficulty or other need affecting this, email info@cbdcollege.edu.au before booking so we can arrange reasonable adjustments. Trainers will endeavour to provide assistance directly during your course.
What if my internet or camera fails during a live Zoom session?
For TAE, Cert IV WHS and Diploma WHS Zoom students, call 1300 616 218 and press 2 in the moment — this reaches the right team immediately so the disruption can be sorted out while your session is still running.
(This process applies to TAE and WHS qualifications only. It does not apply to short courses, and does not apply to TAE's Zoom-delivered CPR class.)
