Bring photo ID and your USI (Unique Student Identifier), wear comfortable clothing (you'll be kneeling for CPR practice) and complete the online pre-learning before you arrive. Most short courses are completed in a single face-to-face session, with your nationally recognised certificate issued the same day.
What to bring
- Photo ID and your USI (create one free at usi.gov.au)
- Comfortable clothing — there's hands-on CPR practice on the floor
- Completed online pre-learning module (sent after you book)
What to expect on the day
After a quick check-in, your trainer runs through the practical skills and assessments. Courses are hands-on and interactive, and for most short courses your statement of attainment is issued the same day.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to finish the online module first?▾
Yes — the pre-course online learning must be completed before your in-person session so the class can focus on practical skills.
