OzHarvest’s Nourish Program

CBD College is proud to support OzHarvest’s Nourish Program by providing barista training as part of a broader initiative aimed at helping young people aged 16–25 who have faced challenges accessing education or employment. The program runs over several months and equips participants with practical hospitality skills, confidence, and guidance to help them move into further training, study, or work. Offered in Sydney, Newcastle, and Adelaide, the program includes hands-on experience in a supportive learning environment.

The Freedom Hub

CBD College collaborates with The Freedom Hub to deliver accessible hospitality and barista training to survivors of modern slavery, empowering them with practical skills, confidence, and employment pathways. Through this partnership, CBD College offers targeted, hands-on barista and RSA/RCG courses helping participants gain nationally recognised qualifications while contributing to a supportive, ethical social enterprise.  CBD College supports The Freedom Hub's mission of fostering recovery and independence for survivors.

Westleigh Rural Fire Service

CBD College puts on a first aid course for 20 or so fire fighters each year from the Westleigh RFS. We are proud to be able to do this for our local community in Hornsby and are thankful for our trainer who gives his time free of charge as well.
