TAE Access Course
What is the TAE Access Course?
Our access course is designed to introduce students to various key aspects of the program. We recognise the face to face component (10 consecutive days) of TAE40122 at CBD College is intense. We move at a fast pace from Day 1. Our TAE Access Course will give students a head start, helping them feel more confident and prepared for Day 1 and beyond.
Who should do the TAE Access Course?
This complimentary 2-day, optional workshop will be offered to all enrolled TAE40122 students however it is particularly targeted to students who have an identified learning skill gaps (including LLND) and those who have not studied for some time. If you are unsure if this course is for you, book into a callback here so we can discuss the course with you.
How long is the TAE Access Course?
2-day workshop offered via Zoom. The course is run by one of our TAE Trainers.
What is covered?
Introduction to training and assessment specific language |
You’ll be introduced to acronyms, vocabulary and phrases that are used throughout our TAE course. |
Computer skill development |
We will cover IT techniques specific to our course. You’ll practise

Support to complete our pre-course online learning modules |
You’ll spend time in the workshop making a start on our online learning modules. These must be completed prior to Day 1. |
Get a head start on our assessment tasks |
You’ll start on some of our assessment tasks meaning you are in a great position when you begin Day 1. |
