Background
I have been a primary teacher for over 30 years and recently changed jobs. I completed a Masters in Education a year ago and am now looking to change careers again and learn new skills.
Why CBD College
I wanted to learn something new in a different environment with different people.
The experience
I really enjoyed the hands-on learning approach. I didn't have a chance to be bored — I was switched on the whole day. The staff were lovely and the encouragement during the sessions was great.
The impact
I now know what machine to buy, I can critique coffee and understand what makes a good one, and I had a fun break from daily life learning something different. My son came along too and can use his skills at a coffee shop. After a knee operation, the learning space suited me well, and the course gave me the courage to change jobs and keep learning.
Their advice
Enrolling and gaining your certificates is a breeze. The college is easy to contact and I loved the staff presenting. I recommend doing the whole day including the latte art — it was fun.
