This barista training course results in a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment, listing the units SITHFAB025 Prepare and serve espresso coffee and SITXFSA005 Use hygienic practices for food safety.

Master Barista Course can be completed in one day or split over separate days (3 hours one day, 2 hours on another). Our teacher/student ratio is unrivaled in the barista training business.

The Master Barista program encapsulates our Barista Basics course plus an intense 2-hour coffee art experience that involves etching, fudge art, and free-pouring. We developed this course in conjunction with representatives from the coffee industry and educational specialists.

One to Five Instructors:

Depending on class size, one to five instructors are present at all courses to provide feedback and oversee students' operation of the espresso machine.

No “Lining Up” to Wait for Machines:

We use 3 group and 2 group Italian espresso machines with at least two group steam wands, designed for at least two operators. This ensures that every student gets their equipment to use, offering a level of practical experience that is unrivaled by any other coffee course.

Cancellation Policy:

We are unable to refund students who do not turn up for coffee making classes or decide not to attend after booking. Changes to class times are allowed, but not within 48 hours of the class commencing.

Students With Special Needs:

Please discuss any health issues which may affect your training and assessment with the instructor prior to class starting. Candidates with special needs are advised to email info@cbdcollege.edu.au before booking so that reasonable adjustments to training and assessment can be contemplated.

Assessment:

Students will be assessed in class via direct observation of practical tasks. Prior to attending class, students must complete online learning, which includes a multiple-choice questionnaire.
