Frequently asked questions

How do I book a place?

Use the class finder above to choose your course, location and date, then enrol and pay online to secure your spot.

Can you train my team or workplace?

Yes — we run group and onsite bookings. Call 1300 723 056 to arrange one.

What do I need before enrolling in ARCG?

You must already hold a valid SITHGAM022 RCG (Responsible Conduct of Gambling) competency. ARCG builds on it for gaming managers and Responsible Gambling Officers.

Who is ARCG for?

Responsible Gambling Officers and senior hotel, club and gaming-venue staff who oversee gaming-floor compliance under NSW law.

Is ARCG nationally recognised?

ARCG is a Liquor & Gaming NSW approved course (CBD College is approved provider #CCR10000169), not a nationally recognised VET unit. You receive a course completion certificate that can be added to your NSW Competency Card.

Do I get my certificate the same day?

Yes — your certificate is issued on the day, and you can have the ARCG endorsement added to your NSW Competency Card.

Certificates, competency cards & card problems
How am I assessed?

Written questions across 5 modules plus 2 role plays, completed in class on the day.

Can international students or visa holders enrol?

Yes — student visa holders are welcome. Bring one original photo ID. A good level of spoken and written English is needed for the role plays and written assessment.

What's the cancellation policy?

We can't refund no-shows or change-of-mind cancellations. You can switch to another class yourself through the Student Portal's Switch function — a switching fee always applies, and it's higher within 48 hours of your class. If you missed your class entirely or arrived too late to be let in, you can reactivate your booking afterwards via the same Switch function — 50% of the course fee within 7 days of your class, 100% after that.
