SITHFAB021 Nationally Recognised Training
The NSW liquor laws mandate the completion of a responsible service of alcohol course for those in the liquor industry. These requirements emphasize the importance of licensees and staff understanding their obligations when serving alcohol responsibly. Implementing these strategies can significantly add value to a venue's operations.
After completing the RSA training course, this photo card must be retained when working on any licensed premises.

SITHGAM022
The SITHGAM022 - Provide responsible gambling services (RCG) competency is essential for mandatory training on responsible gambling for new hoteliers, secretary managers, and gaming-related staff. Completing the NSW rsa and rcg courses ensures compliance with the Gaming Machines Act 2001.
This course runs for a minimum of six hours with no exemptions. RCG training undertaken interstate is not recognized in NSW.

Recent Changes
Liquor and Gaming NSW (L&G) recently updated the rules for RSA/RCG courses in NSW. Now, to obtain the RSA certificate, candidates must complete the course with an approved training provider (like CBD College). After the class, you must answer an additional 25 multiple-choice questions. Once completed, L&G will issue an Interim Certificate. You can then apply for your RSA competency card at a Service NSW center.
Cost $329
Who Can Enrol
Anyone who has never previously held an RSA certificate or whose competency card has expired for more than 28 days can enroll. This includes student visa holders.
Who Cannot Enrol
Those holding a current RSA/RCG competency card or whose card has expired within the past 28 days need to refresh their rsa courses directly with Liquor and Gaming.
Prior Knowledge
No prior knowledge is required for this bartender course.
RSA Course Times
Classes run from 8:45 am to 3:15 pm weekly, all year round. It's crucial to arrive on time. Late arrivals (more than 15 minutes) will need to rebook and pay for another class.

Classes are held at CBD training rooms in Sydney, located across the road from Central Station.

What Do I Bring?
Candidates must bring one form of original photo ID on the day of the course (passport, Australian Driver's License, or RTA Proof of Age Card).
How Will I Be Assessed?
Assessment includes written questions and role-plays. Additionally, RCG has a 30-question multiple-choice assessment conducted by Liquor and Gaming NSW.
Cancellation Policy
We do not refund students who fail to attend or later decide not to participate. Changes to class times are allowed but not within 48 hours of the class starting.
